That's pretty much the "don't drive on MLK" option -- same sentiment, i.e. there were numerous pedestrians with darker skin than mine and therefore the neighborhod was "unsafe." (My parents are the "one person of color is a friend, two are a couple, three are a mob so lock the doors"-type racists who claim they're not racist at all.)

So congratulations to Fenris (who posted his answer) and whoever else selected that one.

8. I think it's traditional...

..for cities to name one of their most dangerous streets 'Martin Luther King' street/blvd/ave.

In Milwaukee, 3rd is MLK while it passes through the 'ghetto' (if you can call it that in Milwaukee), but then becomes 'Old World Third Street' as soon as it hits downtown's business district. I've always considered it an insult for them to do that.
