Beyonce went solo. Destiny's Child is Beyonce with backup. So, what's the point of even having a group for talentless Beyonce? The other two girls have better voices, but Beyonce gets all the attention because of how Daddy whores her out. God I'm so sick of seeing her EVERYWHERE!!

7. You mean the new song where they just repeat the same words over…
and over and over again?

Talk about hype and no substance.

They make the New Kids on the Block look like the Beatles.

9. I don't know

I don't really listen that closely. I know it's something about a baby boy not seeming to be able to keep up with her, and I find it quite danceable. :)

2. Just like The Supremes
But I'll give DC credit. The other girls do get more spotlight than Diana Ross EVER would have though giving up to Mary and Florence or Cindy.

3. Another example of a parent...
..trying to live their life through their child. I put them square in that corporate/studio crap that they keep shoving on us, like Britney, Hillary, and those awful awful "boy bands". :puke:

But I love Destiny's Child. Call me a hypocrite. (Plus Beyonce and the gals are soooooo good looking.)

5. Who writes their songs?
The lyrics of the songs I've heard (not much) are better than any Supremes song I can think of offhand.

I am intrigued by how often the way they sing them violates their scansion, however. Weird.

I don't care that they're babes. Nowadays nobody gets a recording contract without being telegenic.

6. The point of Destiny's Child
is to get some hot looking babes on stage at the same time.
