What are Michael Moore's chances of winning the Best Picture Oscar?
Considering that Bush's first term is not even over and yet we're on the edge of evacuating "Saigon," I'd say Michael's chances are pretty damn good.

3. That was for best documentary, not best picture.
He still has no chance, though.

6. If memory serves
it wasn't the release on DVD but the airing of F911 on pay per view TV that disqualified him but he was most magnanimous about it, saying there were plenty of other most worth and great documentaries released this year. And he was more than happy with his last one.

2. Not very good at all.
Documentaries are only rarely even nominated for anything other than Best Documentary.

Also, Hollywood is driven by money, and holding a love-in for Michael Moore would be very bad for business.

Finally, it is looking like Marty Scorsese may have a winner this year. If The Aviator is very good, there is no way in hell that f911 beats it.

7. Zero. The Academy will choose something lighthearted....
like "The Polar Express", which is getting phenomenal reviews, instead.

The Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences, is, by nature, conservative. No way in hell will they even nominate "F/911", never mind giving it Best Picture.
