Well DAMN....I'm in the 5 digit club without a star......

....hit 10K posts yesterday and just got told a function was only available to donating members....and BAM I'm without a donor star today...sure doesn't seem like a YEAR went by already....since I'm only makin' 6 whole dollars an hour......there's nothin' left to donate to DU with....sigh...woo woo woo... :nopity:

10. Yeah I just recently left my relationship of 14 years and am makin' it....

....BARELY...I have less than ten dollars to my name...and have been this way for a few days now....payday is every other friday...so only a couple more days to go....I've worked 120 hours in the last 2 weeks....and I'm bein' screwed outta overtime pay....no time and a half for me... :evilfrown:

26. Yeah that about sums it up....

.....s'okay though...I AM WORKIN'....and feel quite blessed to even have a job...and my *job* is house sitter to a girl with Down's Syndrome who's had a real hard life...institutionalized most of her life and then not treated all that well by her family....it's reward enough knowin' that the time she spends with me...she's bein' treated with respect and loved....and that's really worth more to me than the money at this point...although it would be nice to get that extra 3 dollars an hour over 40hrs....I don't complain about it too much as I'm thankful to be employed and helpin' somebody else lead a better life than what they were used to...makes it all worth it!! :)
