Cartograms: I just discovered these

Weird... here's a definition:

Cartogram: 1) A small diagram, on the face of a map, showing quantitative information. 2) An abstracted and simplified map the base of which is not true to scale.*

That one is what the United States would look like if the states were shown to be in proportion to population size
