Poll question: Who will win the Super Bowl this year?
Tell me what you think. I say the Eagles even though the Steelers put them in their place and the Steerlers put the Patriots in their place too.

1. Philadelphia
I think Owens will eventually put them over the top.

I don't see a team in the NFC that can stop them. But on the other hand, I never expected Carolina to beat them in the 2004 NFC Championship game.

Minnesota's the only team out there that presents much of a threat.

I predict a New England vs. Philadelphia Super Bowl, with the Eagles prevailing by a FG.

9. yep looking at their opponents for the last half of the season
they could finish 12-4 of 11-5
they play the Vikings twice, if they can beat the Vike's in the dome, they will take the division.

I think Brett wants this to be his final year, but he wants to leave a winner.

and some of the early running game and D problems have been resolved.

5. I also predict Philly vs Patriots for the SB
The Pats will get back their injured players: Ty Law, Branch, Poole, and others. They are winning without these guys. They beat the high flying RAMs with a secondary consisting of a rookie who did not start in college, a practice squad player, a 33 year old receiver, and a special teams linebacker.

The Steelers were the better team when they beat the Pats. But the Pats with Dillon, Law, and Branch back will be more than a match.

8. So there is one Charger hopeful here?
If Donna Frye gets the Mayoral election then the Chargers will win the Super Bowl.

18. I think they have a shot!
Drew Brees has come alive with confidence. It was a powerful offense that got them to the Super Bowl in '95, and it could happen 10 years later.

Why the hell not?

20. Broncos fan praising Bolts
I never gave up on Drew Brees as a solid Passer plus they have the best player in the league LT. Offense is good but the Broncos have been able to shut down LT in recent games, thank god. He is scary.

15. BRONCOS!!!!
Denver had a couple of bad weeks that won't last. We got the running and passing attack going, Plummer 2 4 TD pass games in a row, and Droughns is running the rock well. Also can't forget a top 5 defense with the #1 rated(ESPN) Corner Back in the NFL CHAMP!! :bounce: I don't care if they go 9-7, they more then have the ability to win 3-4 playoff games in a row. I'm bookmarking this thread :)

17. I don't get the Steelers hoopla

It's one thing to beat teams when they're in the regular season and in a position to honk one- and willing to. Look at the Eagles' and Patriots' schedules, and tell me that playing Pittsburgh as #7 or #8 wasn't one the boys saw as an opportunity to take a vacation day in effort on. Good team, outside their sub-league, young and hungrier than your team, but probably not good enough to be a real problem come January (or, maybe so, but why worry now?).

Too good an opportunity, really.

But I'm fine with Steeler fans being happy. You deserve it, enjoy it.

19. Steelers = flavor of the month
Good team that's peaking way, way to early. Plus Cowher won't ever win the big one.

Pats v. Eagles

Mark it down...
