...to piss off conservatives - www.ronaldreagan.com, Rush vs. reality, and the old Fox News discussion boards. Besides, when you live your life with a last name that starts with "Z", it's kinda nice to be further up in teh alphabet for a change.

...I was the first kid in my Second Grade class to get glasses. Mrs. Pierson (my teacher) made everyone sit in alphabetical order. That put me in the back row, and she noticed me squinting to see the blackboard. So she sent me to the school nurse, who gave me a quick eye test and then send me home with a note suggesting that i get my vision checked.

So in October of 1960, I got my first pair of glasses. And after that, Mrs. Pierson noticed a lot of other squinting kids, because there were everal other kids who came back after Christmas Break wearing glasses.

She passed away last February. I called her Rubyduby and she loved it. It's the easiest thing for me to remember and it's my password for more things than I can remember. If it needs a password, that's it.

And I'm from GA. For now....could be moving to a blue state soon.
