Impressive northern lights visible now!!

go take a look. I am at 42 degrees north and it is quite a show

1. It's been huge, all over, since about 9:00.

At 45 degrees north it's right overhead, sometimes covers half the sky.

Mostly green streamers from west to east. Didn't know it moved that quick. At some point I'm going to have to stop watching and go to bed.

We're overcast here (Algoma - east of Green Bay); but that might just be the lake effect.

11. i was returning from las vegas to minneapolis tonight and watched them

going nuts out the plane window. i exclamed "you can see the northern lights!" and everyone looked out their windows and oohed and ahhed. very pretty.

12. I was out earlier watching them (NW Iowa) and a plane went over

and I wondered what they looked like up there. What's it look like from up there?
