Poll question: Poll: Should I shave my head in protest or not cut my hair in protest
It will be one of the two...in protest I will either shave my head or not cut my hair....in the long run, what will be most effective?

Bush won, he got more votes...you gonna protest democracy?

We can be pissed and dissapointed, but you can't protest the results

Let's just shut people out.

3. I Shave My Head A Few Times A Year...
and it always grows back. It will be MONTHS or YEARS before your "let-it-grow" protest has any visual shock-value. But the instant effect of shaving it off will probably give you the result you desire.

6. Samson
Since we'll all have to do mandatory Bible study now (yeah, I know, not funny) think about the story of Samson. He told Delilah that the secret of his strength was that he never cut his hair, so she snuck up on him while he was asleep and cut it, and then got her wicked henchmen to poke his eyes out and abduct him. Later, at his show trial, he'd regrown enough hair to regain his strength and knock over the columns supporting the roof, thereby smiting a whole bunch of the enemy. It might work for you too.

11. Let it grow
Of course if you DO decide to cut it off, you should shave a W-slash on your head.

15. I last cut my hair in 2000,
and I see no reason to cut it now. I'll cut it, what hasn't fallen out, when there is evidence of positive change in this country.

This is my first post, so hello to everyone here at DU.

Peace All,
noreins

hmmm... ponytail, pigtails, or dreads?
