With election season over, will true conservatives take off the gloves?

Will they take off the gloves and deal with the problems in their own party?

As sad as it is to say, if Bush really does take this thing I think one of our biggest hopes is that the moderate and true conservative republicans also recognize the problems Bush is causing and start taking out their own trash.

1. No, they'll go along to get along

After all, if it means more pork, more useless spending, more big fat projects that'll keep them getting reelected, that's what counts.

Why should they care about paying the bills? They won't have to. Their kids and grandkids will, and we will, but they won't have to worry about it.
