1. It's becoming quite an art center!!! Lots of galleries, etc. Also,

from Silver City, it's not too far to the Gila Cliff dwellings, the Catwalk area, etc. Good central point for daytrips.

but we had trouble finding a nice place to eat. But there are a lot of art galleries.
