6. Yuengling is my everyday beer
best beer you can get, cheap.

But when I splurge, I go with Red Stripe, or Negra Modelo with lime. And sometimes a handle or two of Private Stock, for when I, er, un-splurge?

10. yes - Blue Moon Belgian with a slice of orange
It's a nice beer, with an unusual "thing" to it. Definitely a solid choice.

23. Blue Moon is brewed by Coors-- but I still like it!
I got hooked on the stuff before I knew it was a Coors beer (like Killians'). For a Belgian-style wheat beer, it's not bad at all. Considering it's from a fairly large commercial brewery, it's a huge achievement!

33. The only time I'd ever squat in the White House
is if it was on Bush's head. Being the little pansy that can't handle his liquor that he is, he'd probably run to daddy and start crying.

28. Czech Budweiser (Czechvar), Anchor Steam, Draught Bass
Budweiser Budweis (NOT the A-B beer) is brewed in the Czech Republic, and is very much like the beer that inspired A-B's Budweiser-- only much much better. The beer is marketed under the Czechvar brand in the US.

Anchor Steam Beer from SF's Anchor Brewery is a true American beer classic-- and unlike any other found in the rest of the world, to boot. It is a cool, bottom-fermented beer that is made with Ale yeast and has a flavor unlike anything else you'll find.

Lastly has got to be Draught Bass Ale. Draught Bass is only available in the UK, as it is a cask-conditioned ale, which bears little resemblence to the version you can buy "on tap" or in bottles in the US. It's the very typical English pale ale, from the heart of pale ale country in Burton-on-Trent, UK.

Honorable mention goes to Chimay (Belgian Trappist Ale), Pilsner Urquell (the original from Plzen, Czech Republic), Fuller's London Pride (UK), and Schell's Pils (as close to Pilsner Urquell as you can find from a US brewery).

(FULL DISCLOSURE: I'm a certifiable beer snob IRL. I spent seven months working at a traditional English pub in the UK when I got out of college, and subsequently have some odd tastes-- and a hell of a beer-drinking habit :dunce:

38. It used to be McEwan's Scotch Ale...
But it got bought out and started tasting weird. Now, it's the top of the line: Le Fin du Monde, by Unibroue. It's like a beer cocktail, at 9%. I hope its name's not a harbinger of things to come, though. Guess I'd better drink another one.
