I'm considering selling off my DC/Marvel comics from the early 60s.

looking for a good (and reputable!) site to get a sense of what it's currently worth (if anything!)

1. Wizard magazine

Wizard is considered the industry standard for comic pricing. They publish a monthly price guide. Your local comic store should be able to help you with finding this magazine. Also Overstreet publishes a guide to comic prices.

2. the local shop here uses e-bay to che pricing

they see what issues go for regularly, average it and thats what you get for it

I had considered checking out some representative issues on eBay and will do that.
