5. Here is when you are too old to trick or treat.......

You get winded from knocking on the door

You have to have another kid chew the candy for you

You ask for high fiber candy only

When someone drops a candy bar in your bag, you lose your balance and
fall over.

People say, "Great Boris Karloff Mask." and you're not even wearing a
mask.

When the door opens you yell, "Trick or....." and can't remember the
rest.

You have to make sure your hearing aid is working.

You're the only Power Ranger in the neighborhood with a walker.

You keep having to go home to pee.

6. The Best Way is to Bring a Small Child
I have many fond memories of trick-or-treating with my daughter when she was little. So all is not lost.

But don't come to my house. I stopped giving out those miniature bottles of Jack Daniels. You'd probably get some old packets of hot mustard and duck sauce that were lying around the refrigerator.

11. Just Kidding!
I used to say that to the annoying teenagers who came by at 10:30 at night with no costumes. "Too bad, we just ran out of those little bottles of Jack Daniels."

But I have thought of buying little bottles of wine and beer for the other parents in the neighborhood. That could earn you gratitude for years.
