Poll question: Supernatural Superstition Super-Poll
Edited on Sat Sep-13-03 06:26 PM by DemBones DemBones
Inspired by another post asking if DUers are superstitious, this poll asks you which statements you agree with or think are true.

Edit: Rats! Spent the time to make up 10 questions and only now remembered you can only choose one. Doh! Well, choose the one that's MOST true for you. LOL!

10. It works in practice, but is lacking a theory for why it works
One day mebbe science will come up with one. In the meantime, only the small minded let that bother 'em.

3. Ouija board here--weird experience as a kid
dropped it on my foot

stood up quickly to start hopping in pain

slammed my head into the bottom of an open drawer

upturned the whole drawer, spilling contents onto the floor

turned around to dodge the falling drawer and contents and whacked my mother in the forehead with my elbow

She recoiled and bashed the door, slamming it closed, but instead of closing, it bounced back and broke her toe.

Weird, I tell you.

And don't ask me about walking under ladders.

6. Not quite the sort of weird experience I was thinking of but

definitely a weird experience! How heavy was your Ouija board, to make you start hopping in pain after you dropped it on your toe? All the boards I've ever seen were cardboard. . . Say, are you making this all up? Pretty good, either way! :7
