3. well the White Sox haven't won since 1917
And they were cursed by the Black Sox Scandal in 1918.

Last WS wins: 1917 for the Sox, 1908 for the Cubs.

Two pizzas are riding on this against a Clear Channel blowhard; bet was made before his endorsement of (and total lobotomized conversion to) W, right after the Browns beat the Steelers for the new Browns's second game win (in Pittsburgh) . . .
