Inane DU posts too numerous to mention here,

Maybe it's just me, I really don't know, but do you ever wonder about some of OUR DU posters? You know, those all-stars that assume that everyone on DU is doing exactly what they're doing at the moment; watching the same TV show that they're watching; or that we all can read minds?

I've seen posts that are titled: "Did you see that?", followed by a short commentary such as: "I'll never watch him again".

There are many more examples that tend to make me wonder, uh, er, well, let's just leave it at that--they make me wonder!

It seems that these types of posts come in rashes. (I hope to hell they're not contagious)

Forgive me if I'm being priggish about this, but sometimes I just want to tear my hair out when I'm trying to interpret some of these posts.

I hope I've made myself fairly clear about the type of posts to which I'm referring. If not, then I'm the pot calling the kettle, uh, the kettle calling the pot, er, oh hell, forget it!!!!!

Then there are the matters of interesting spellings and grammatical errors. Oh well, we are all human, I hope.

Pointless posts - especially during a media event such as the debates or a rally - when there are already 'official discussion threads' going not only slow down the server but make it damn near impossible for us with dial up to even get in !

because I don't live in an area that has cable and cannot afford satellite TV.

I can't even view the videos on the Internets (tee, hee) that are mentioned here because of my extremely slow (24 K) connection speed.
