Halloween Costume ideas needed

The College that I attend is for Fashion Designers and Interior Decorating. My costume cannot be a store bought costume or I will be laughed at. I need some creative ideas and suggestions. If i win the contest at my College I will post the pictures on DU and give the prize money to the Kerry campaign.

Get a good, navy pinstriped thrift store suit. Get LOTS of patches and logos from various companies and sew them on (or glue or whatever), again, like Nascar drivers wear.

Get your hair styled like a talking head, do the lip-liner, fill with coral, then lipstick, heavy TV make up. Talk in 20 second bites and make use of "from Alcatraz Island, Jim Vander Mijos." type lead ins for EVERYTHING.

21. I'll try to remember everything

sloth .. robe and slippers
lust .. bustier/mini skirt with condoms stuck in the top of the bustier
gluttony .. I paper mache'd a bottle to make it look like a giant turkey leg and carried a wine bottle (empty)
greed .. gawdy jewelry and money sticking out the top of the bustier
pride .. I carried a mirror ( I think it was attached to a necklace
anger/wrath .. my face was 1/2 red - i carried some sort of weapon
envy .. face was 1/2 green, as in 'green with envy'

I am sure of the first 5, I am struggling to remember the last 2, but I think that is close to what i did. It was several years ago.

It was fun, people were mostly lost in their guesses.

I'm trying to think arty here.

Basically a pirate costume but with elements that suggest music piracy: iPod, scarf or headwrap which features a piano keyboard pattern, Napster logo, KaZaa logo, a subpoena from the MPAA.
