4. That's nice, except I don't give a damn.
Only one team has EVER given up a 3-0 lead in baseball history, and that's NOT the Red Sox!!! CHOKE YOU FUCKING BASTARDS!! CHOKE!!!

10. That's right, but this year they are losers.

And the fact that the Celtics and Canadians are still the winningest teams in history don't mean squat.

12. yes they had a great season
1. what, the second best record in baseball?
2. is it they are good, or the rest of the league is mediocre? Besides the rivalry with Boston, who else is there? Maybe the Cardinals, who had the best record in baseball, experience the same tonight?
3. They need to learn how to finish.
4. i dont get all this fire everybody rhetoric. Fix the problems, build on what you've got, dont burn down the house

Take heart, the ALCS champ is spent, just like last year, the NL will be WS champs

13. By this logic, comrade, let's hope that hockey doesn't even
come back - after all, Montreal is the winningest team in history, so any win by a team like Tampa Bay isn't even relevant. No point in even wasting the time :)

The Yankees just uncorked the biggest choke in baseball history. They were three outs away from a SWEEP with their man, the greatest closer in history, on the mound completely fresh. They lost that game. And the next. And the next. And the next.

They deserve all the crap that gets heaped upon them today, sorry - no matter what these two teams have done since 1918. If previous years mattered, they wouldn't have played this year.

14. They have a new record, too!
FIRST TEAM IN HISTORY TO LOSE 4 GAMES IN A ROW AFTER BEING UP 3-0 IN A PLAYOFF SERIES!!

That'll go down in the record books, I think. :)

15. You're right. If another team wins the world series for the next 20 years
straight, then the Yankees might be surpassed.

17. Yes, but at the end of the day
The Sox are still going to the World Series and the Yankees still got spanked in their own stadium for a devastating loss, becoming the first team in history to lose after being up 3-0.

But you knew that, right? ;)
