We're going to The Show. Holy crap. We're going to The Show.
It has only just begun to sink in. Barely.

We were three outs away from getting swept on Sunday.

Come Wednesday night, and we're going to The Show.

Just like that.

Hoo.

Pinch me.

1. Who is we and what is the big show?
j/k, impressive comeback by Boston. 3 outs away from getting swept plus they faced extra innings in their decisive games and still managed to come back on top. Gutsy performance by Boston that will be remembered for years.

18. Check this out

Down at St. Marks Ale House in the East Village, Jonny Kaloudis, 25, said: "The worst would be losing to Boston fans because they're such ignorant, bitter people. They're so used to losing, all they have is hate. There's no humility. That's what we want to see. We want to see humility."

The quote from that article rings true.

But I can't watch the games.
last game I watched was Saturday night.
I was in the woods out of contact with the world when the sox had their big run this summer.
Its a bummer but I will make the sacrifice.

asshole Bush in the WH another 4 years.

Meanwhile, the Red Sox "have one more hill to climb, baby"!
(apologies to Howie Rose re the New York Rangers beating the NJ Devils in 7, thanks to Mark Messier, then winning the Stanley Cup. Another "curse" broken.)

I mean that sincerely, you bastard!

I'm a Yankee fan, but I will be rooting for the Sox in the series. They truly do deserve it after that showing. Let it never be said that Beet's a bad sport!

15. Comic relief.
He sure was a crowd pleaser. I was about to leave when my friend (born in the Bronx) said, "This is a whole new game."

I'm not a baseball fan. But I enjoyed the dynamic.

still worry that the Yankess would come back and win?

I know I did. I can only imagine how nervous the Red Sox fans were at that point. Congratulations on the win, I hope the Cards can pull off one themselves tonight.

GO CARDS!

"All I have now is that in two weeks, I'll be able to read and hear about how the Red Sox lost the World Series. That's what the curse is all about. Not them beating the Yankees, but losing the World Series."
