So for those desiring simply to entertain/amuse one another... start with an absurd sentence - and create subthreads with short, sentence long absurd responses... at an end point - start another subthread... just who far can we make these stories go?

First thought/sentence:

I knew it was time to worry when John Ashcroft banned the commercial use of paper towels.
