I'm no pro but I would guess a ritual for reversing a curse of this nature would involve a photo of Kerry-if you can, maybe photoshop him taking the oath of office on the Capital steps (this image is something I have visualized every time that things have looked bleak since he became the nominee). Put that image on your favorite flat surface (alter, bureau, whatever. . .). It's best if you have piece of marble or some other non flammable surface, for both safety and energetic purposes. (I've procured tons of marble scraps for free from marble and tile outlet's scrap piles-the oval sink cut outs are especially cool)
Get some candles and write and recite your own simple prayer or affirmation when you light them. Circle then candles with your hands and cover your eyes and visualize the image mentioned above for a few seconds right after you light them.
I don't generally indulge in negative rituals but given what we're up against, I'm considering downloading and printing out something from an official white house website that simply says "President George W. Bush, " and burning it and flushing the ashes down the toilet, or perhaps throwing them in the North Atlantic at my friendly neighborhood power spot.
Though you're talking about doing this on election day, consider that there is a very powerful eclipse on 10/28 at 1:37 pm EDT. Eclipses enhance rituals. A few other possible optimum times for these activities are November 1 (All Saints Day) at 3:46 pm, and November 2 at 1:01 pm. These times are chosen based on Astrological transits but you can really do it when ever spirit moves you to do so. Also, given the insecurity surrounding the tallying of votes, you might want to consider repeating at each hour the polls close in the varying time zones.
Please don't flame me for these suggestions. If you think that they are stupid then simply don't do them. My belief is that you don't have to believe in magic, but at the very least, these practices make one feel less disempowered, and they certainly can't hurt.
Bear in mind that * has droves of Fundies doing prayers for him. Some of us could at least make similar spiritual efforts for Kerry.
Who knows. . .the chili might even help rally the Latino vote! Good Luck with it !
