I have a problem, I just contributed to the DNC online

And when I clicked send it took forever. I left the browser run for 20 minutes and its never finished. So I clicked stop and closed down Internet Explorer.

SO now Im worried for two reasons. One did my contribution go through.

Second... What happened, should I be worried about something on my end? (trojan, or what not...)

Suggestions? How can I find out if my thing went through?

1. Does your credit card have online account access?

Check with your bank online, or just call your card company at the number on the back of the card, and ask if the charge went through.

I'll bet it did not... probably just a TON of traffic to the DNC from people desperate to get John Kerry elected.

To be on the safe side, check the website in a few days, and always check your statement for unauthorized charges. :)

3. Did you get a confirmation email?

Pretty much everytime I have contibuted online I've gotten a confirmation email thanking me within a few minutes.

4. ive contributed 3 times since august and never received an email

I figured it was strange not to, but never have in the past. Havent this time.

Called CC company they said information wont be updated til tomorrow as to todays transactions (if any).

Argh! Guess I wait till tomorrow.

And you know what, even if it turns out I did contribute today, Ill contribute some more tomorrow.

1st time i did get an email though. Never got one before.
