Poll question: Match Game Vs. The Price is Right
My vote is for Match Game, but i wish GSN would play some old Price is Right shows. I remember the days when Bob Barker had dark hair.

16. The Big Wheel was good, too.
I saw a woman hit 95 cents on her first go and she wanted to spin again. Bob was just dumbstruck. Apparently, she just liked spinning the wheel.

6. I'm convinced the entire Match Game panel was drunk the whole time
and watching the re-runs backs that up. I didn't notice it when I was a kid. I just remember them turning the year (it would go from Match Game '72! to Match Game '73! and they would unveil the new number each year.)

10. Match Game, because they were sooooooooo strange and edgy.
The Liars Club was another of the get-stars-wasted-and-let-them-have-fun kind of show. Only they were not drunk, but under the influence of something else.

13. Price Is Right!!!
If I could wish for anything, I'd wish to spin the wheel, have it land on $1.00, and win the Showcase Showdown (both showcases, 'cuz I'd bid within $100 of the other one!!!)

Cheap appliances!!! Cheezy furniture!!!! A 1973 Vega!!!! What more could you ask for??? :silly:

18. I remember they had a home soda fountain once on the Price is Right
and one of the contestant's friends kept yelling from the audience "1227! 1227!) The contestant duly wrote down $1227 and sure enough, that was the price of the item (although why anyone would want an in-house soda fountain is another issue.) Now how did they know that?
