6. Bread maker. I already have a bread maker. It's called MY FUCKING OVEN.
I HATE things that only can be used for one thing, and even that one thing they do far worse than the tried-and-true method.

14. I would never buy an ice maker. Sure, if it's included in the fridge....
And coffee pots are different. Only a GOOD coffee maker can make a good cup of coffee (although a $20 French press will give you a better brew than most sub-$100 electric pots). But bread makers? Get real.

12. A friend who bought a bread maker....
Said it's a great way to add lots of weight. It makes bread production even easier. If I ever need to gain weight, I'll buy one.

I've still got a nasty burn scar on my wrist from one of the first times I used it, when I reached past the (very hot) inner unit to unplug it. I didn't stop making bread, but these days I'm much more respectful.

27. Tell me more about this, Richardo.
What first scared you about the dehydrator? When did everything go wrong? Was it soon after that, you know, "unfortunate" incident? :hi: guy!

especially the ones that look like they have little eyes on the side and a grinning mouth with the carpet height adjustment bit. Evil. Sucking things up without a care. Making stinky "I just ate some dust and dog tail" smells ... and the noise... sheesh

I've had a can opener for 13 years and I have yet to figure out how to use it really. I think it's in storage now. I always use the little hand operated ones. :dunce:

specifically, electric can openers. I've never owned one that worked very well, if at all. The best can opener I've ever used is my current one - a cheap manual opener.
