I was way ahead of you. 1990. I get invited to see my friend Chris' new favorite artist in Cincinnati Ohio. This assclown takes the stage in bell-bottoms, a mohair shirt, and platform shoes and proceeds to play what are basically collages of the songs of better, cooler artists. In particularly he does this horrible song about living in fear that goes on for, I don't know, weeks.

Midway thru his show he does some sub-mental rap about how "this ain't the sixties...and this ain't the seventies...this is the muthafuckin' NINETIES!" to which I yell, from the second row in a very small club, "Then why the fuck are you dressed like that?"

His response, a sneered "Not cool, man," is one of my proudest moments.

A few years back I saw an episode of Mad TV and it was supposed to be Lenny unplugged or something. They were "taking questions" and someone stood up and made the Dr Seuss connection..LOL.
