WhooHooo we THINK we found a home for "Hobo" the cat
<fingers crossed>

See here for the story as of yesterday
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=105&topic_id=1811965

The mother and mother-in-law of a couple we know will take Hobo but we are going to take it to the vet first to see if checks out health wise. We don't want her to get attached to the cat and then find out it is sick or whatever.

So I have to take off 2 hours tomorrow as our vet won't let us just drop off a cat that they haven't seen and we really don't know too much about.

Anyway it looks like we might have found the little critter a home. Demman was going to check with his vet (who makes house calls) to see if she could take it in or find it a home and I already got a response to a company e-mail I sent out.

Did I mention that another cat showed up this morning at our porch? Word must have gotten around about how big of suckers we are.

1. Still looking for a home for Stoner...
So my ESSO took him to the vet yesterday to get him divested of his testicles, since he's just one of the strays, and they offered to do it free...

Well....Somebody else had the same idea first! Did find out the ol' sweety weighs NINETEEN POUNDS! That's without the balls...

We call him "Stoner" because we turned him on to some fresh catnip this summer. Dude was OUT of it for HOURS!
He's such a nice cat, wish we could find him a home...He rode in the truck without a carrier, just sat on the seat looking out the window....

5. He's HUGE.
And he follows you around like a puppy, too. Vet figures maybe 3 yrs old at the oldest. Hope Hobo likes his new home!

3. Glad to hear it
You're a good person to worry over him and care for him. He's very lucky.
