Poll question: for the office foLk - casuaL or formaL?
what is your office Like? is it casuaL dress/atmosphere or is it formaL (suit & tie)? somewhere in the middLe?

our secretary just quit, and they brought in someone for an interview aLready, and the boss was giving her the tour. in my office - there's no dress code. as the boss was showing her through here, he made the comment, "as you can see it's a casuaL atmosphere and apoLogized saying that most of us do doubLe duty in the fieLd and so they have to dress for that"

even though we don't wear shirts and ties, i'd never apoLogize for it.

anyhow, what's your work Like?

1. Pretty casual
No sweats, most people don't wear jeans, but some do. Jeans must not have holes, LOL. It's pretty comfortable for me. I'd rather it was even more casual (I won't wear a t-shirt, for example) but that's me, and I understand why it is the way it is.

2. Jeans on Fridays, "business casual" the rest of the week
For men, that usually means khakis and a polo shirt; for women, it varies, but I usually wear a casual-ish dress or a skirt and blouse.

4. Jeans. Shorts in the summer - except if there's
a meeting with a client. Never ever suits, coats, ties. No panty hose. Tights in the winter.

6. My work is actually ...
a little too casual at times, for me. If you come in wearing a skirt, they ask you if you have an interview. Makes it hard when you really do! ;)
