Who wants to see The Cure and Joy Division for less than two bucks?
(of course, I'll have to get the old TARDIS up and running)

(and yes, Joy Division would blow The Cure off the stage)

1. Mandy H was teh_r0X0r
Actually I've no idea who that is.

I wish my old handbill for the Velevet Underground's 4-night stand at La Cave in Cleveland was handy - I'd love to post that. But I'd have to A) find it and B) take it out of the frame to scan it.

2. I've got an album recorded during that stretch.
Great show, even though the sound quality is for shit.

6. I think I've seen that bootleg at WRUW
Is it the one with the B&W cover and the badass version of "What Goes On" that made it onto the VU boxed set? That's one of the most sought-after Velvets boots this side of "Mainline."

15. Yep, although it's now been legitimately released.
At least in Paraguay, or wherever the fuck it's from.

4. I dug this up from a Cure site while doing some research.
Some of the posters are pretty intriguing.

7. I had no idea Ian Fleming was a post-punk opening act.
I mean, I love the Bond novels and all, but Jesus, that man must have been ancient by then.

23. I think we've exhausted the Bond jokes.
I'm glad it stopped before one of us had to say something witty and creative about "Moonraker".
