Per Michael Moore's Request...
I went to see Michael Moore speak Saturday night. Great time. He said his next documentary is going to be on big drug companies. He said Pfizer has a hotline for employees to call if MM comes to their ofc. MM gave out the number at the rally and told
everyone to call it and say MM is in the building. Here's the number:
212.573.1226.

2. That's funny
Moore sure has some great ideas. You'd think the guy would take a break after his success with F9/11, but he just keeps on going. I hope he never stops.

5. I'll call Wed morning
Seeing as Moore is in Reno on Wed night and we have a Pfizer office here they'll likely buy it. Thanks for heads up. Silly drug companies.

They're saying the next film is titled "Sicko" for those that don't already know it.

7. Take a look at these numbers.....
Factcheck says that shrub got less than 900,000 from Pharmcos... I did a little digging... and if you add in health professionals... (who get a lot of kickbacks from pharmcos, but I doubt they are told what to do with them) the numbers change dramatically....

My question is.... who is right, and why is there a discrepancy here???? Someone has their facts out of focus. They are saying here that 891,383 is the total for 2000 and 2004.... WTF?

http://www.factcheck.org/article.aspx@docID=125.html
A liberal group's ad gets a couple facts right, but leaves out the good stuff.
>>But as for “huge” political contributions, the fact is that the pharmaceutical industry doesn’t even rank among Bush’s top 30 supporters. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Bush has received $891,383 so far from pharmaceutical and health products companies and their employees for his 2000 and 2004 campaigns combined.<<

Pharmaceuticals
Bush 472,333
Gore 108,100

Health Professionals
Bush 2,813,933
Gore 768,848

When you add both of these together you get over 3 mil for the boy who would be king... soooooo

Then you had this slaughter..... tell me the boy ain't bought and paid for and that is why the middle class is taking it up the ***.

Insurance
Bush $1,644,662
Gore $328,975

Bush 1,889,206
Gore 139,514

Real Estate
Bush 4,346,136
Gore 1,560,686

Bush's Misleading Attack Video

Internet attack ad says Kerry got most "special interest money" of any senator. He didn't. And Bush got lots more.

>>While it is true that Kerry got $640,000 over the past 15 years from individual lobbyists, that's only one type of special-interest money. And the Bush campaign itself has reported raising $960,000 from individual lobbyists in the past year alone.<<
