Short report and pics of the Kerry rally in St. Louis. PIC HEAVY

We had a blast watching the debate with around 5000+(?) other Kerry peeps. Didn't know we'd all have to sit on a concrete floor all bunched up together for it but other than the occasional "My ass hurts" it was great. The camaraderie was right on throughout especially when the idiot pronounced Missouri “Missoura” and brought up Dred Scott.

One guy said it better than anyone when Scott was brought up saying, “ I guess he (Bush) took the tour of the Courthouse today and is just passing on what he just learnded. Didn’t we all take that field trip in third grade?”.
Guess you have to be a St. Louisan to appreciate it but it was hilarious at the time.

About an hour and fifteen minutes after the debate Kerry, Teresa and Alexandra Kerry showed up and the place went wild.

It was truly awesome. I am wired and spent at the same time so I apologize if I'm not as coherent as I'd like.

i'm an ex-st.louisan who doesn't miss the smell of hops and licorice down by the mississloppy ribber, and a WU alum who does miss graham chapel and the ucity loop, and i thank you for this lovely posting! get some sleep and dream sweetly. thank you. and eat a bagel from petrofsky's for me, washed down with a lukewarm stag.

Thanks for posting !!!! I know how you feel, I met both Kerry and Edwards, on two seperate occassions, and the thrill lasts for days !!! The positive message delivered by both of them , really helps us to keep fighting to win this thing. The end is near mr bush* !!!

I'm still enthralled with the whole experience. It just reinforced what I already knew and seeing Kerry up close right after the debate was just unbelievable. He was a man who KNEW he won another debate and possibly the election.
