Any Tift Merritt fans?
I hadn't heard of her before a friend invited me to her show last night in Toronto. I'm seriously impressed. What a talent (great songwriter), and what a hot band she has.
I was a big Maria McKee fan in her Lone Justice era, and I think Tift Merritt surpasses her.

Catch her on tour if you can. (She's in Chicago tonight.) This could be the last chance to catch her in a small venue. I think she's going to be a big star.

Needing very soon now to pick up her "Tambourine" cd.
