anyone know much about drug tests?

I was unemployed and a friend of mine was smoking and I took two hits two weeks ago then I got called for a job and most likely will have to do a drug test this week what do I do? I am not normally a smoker so the level should be low

4. Here's what you do:

Go to a head shop, where they sell Bongs, pipes, papers etc and tell them that you need one of their special "drinks" to clean out your system. They all have them and they are guaranteed to work. Also, start taking a lot of Godlen Seal and Echinacea..a LOT!..Drink lots of water and cranberry juice. Do this all up until the test and you will pass...That cleansing drink that you will find at a Head Shop is the most important aspect to it all. My mom had to take a drug test for a county job and she was smoking Pot of medicinal purposes. Drank the drink and and passed!! This is what to do. Good luck.

There is also a tea that you drink right before the test, I think it's called golden seal root, available at health food stores, for like thirty freekin dollars. The military tests for this and considers it a violation as well.

8. Do NOT use a masking agent.

The first test the lab will do is for them. If your sample tests positive, it will be returned as a "refusal to test". There are simple color reagent tests that have been developed for the common masking agents such as gluteraldehyde.

If you took two hits two weeks ago, you most likely will not test positive.

There are home testing kits available if you have doubts and want to be sure.

10. This is the best advice posted so far...

Don't use masking agents. You can flush your system by drinking a lot, but unless you can flush every bit of fat in your body... Drink lots of water, don't use your first urine for the test and don't be nervy going in.

2 hits at 2 weeks should be a very, very tiny amount.

Your bigger worries may actually be for pseudoephedrine.... it's in cold medicine and in meth... and the quick test can be remarkably stupid about determining the difference. Try not to take any cold or allergy medicine 24 hours in advance.

I have been unemployed since last Dec and the state would not help me as I didn't have a job. love the catch 22 on that one if I had a job I wouldn't need the help. I have been so depressed that I broke down at friends house and since it is only a misdemeanor in Ann Arbor it is practically legal here. Thurs was a great day for me as I got the call for the job and then Kerry kicked bush's ass I really feel like Kerry is going to win this election and have not felt this positive in ages.

Seriously. Two hits two weeks ago by a very irregular user will not show up.

Yes, THC is fat soluble and can be 'detected' in urine for up to six months. The thing is, the tests themselves test on a threshold.

However, I am saying this as friends with 'hardcore stoners' (well this was almost ten years ago heh, but still) who smoked daily until a two days before the tests, and still passed.

Basically the tests are positive if a certain threshold (mass/unit volume, I think the standard is something like 50 nanograms/ml, not sure on this)

What they did was use Golden Seal, drink tons of water the day before and use an effective diuretic (coffee) the day of the test. Its all about dilution.

These guys were hardcore stoners. If they can pass, you have no worries.

Don't sweat it. Just drink a buncha coffee before hand (and make sure you piss at least once in the morning before you go do the deal, toxins tend to build up in first-piss morning urine) and you will be fine.

17. ATTENTION:FROM A DRUG REHAB EMPLOYEE.......

if you are not an everyday smoker, it will not stay in you long. goldenseal will not clean you out and they have tests that spot it...same for the other miracle flushes....they will not help you pass a lab test. start drinking cranberry juice and find some niacin tablets at your local pharmacy.take the niacin pills at breakfast and dinner and drink a large glass of cranberry juice...pure cranberry not the cocktail....3 times a day for 2 to 5 days, depending on how regular a smoker you are. if you smoke daily for over a month, you'll need to do this for about two weeks...a once a monther....2 or 3 days. niacin and cranberry will clean you out very effectivly...they are natural detoxifiers and they wont show up on a test like the flushes do. the flushes only work for the cheap panel tests, not the lab test you will probably get. believe it.....i work in the industry.
