Midnight run to Ottawa, trivia tournament, and midnight run back to T.O.

I returned last night from my second college-level quiz tournament (at 3 A.M.). Driving through Canada in the middle of the night sure is boring, but I digress.

My team won a round-robin competition with a record of 7-1. I was also the 5th highest individual scorer (out of about 40 players)! Two of the people ahead of me were my graduate-level teammates who are over twice my age, and two people from McGill, who must surely be posers, like everyone else from McGill. Anyway, it feels good to win *and* I got a $10 gift card to HMV.

But man, leaving Toronto at 8pm, getting to Ottawa at 2:30am, getting up at 8:30, playing trivia from 10-6, and then getting home at 3am really takes a toll. I sure am draggin' today, but I feel great.
