yeah... I guess I have way too much free time..... But thankfully for all of you, I work a twelve hour shift later on this evening.

2. 12 hour shifts..................

I worked those for 3 months. Couldn't take it. I got reports from 2 different Doctors (both friends of mine) stating that it was doing me irreparable harm physically and psychologically. The company I worked for at the time (Eastman Kodak) had to find me straight day work. That was many years ago, these days they'd just fire my ass.

Well, the 12s aren't that bad at a hospital, we get less of the administration looking over our shoulders and more time to abuse....ummmm errrrr ummm *Treat* (yeah, that's it, Treat) the patients. Amazing the shit you will see at 4 am on a full moon. Funny thing, when one visits the hospital, they leave whatever morals they have at the door and either continuously show us their asses (literally...)or try to get enough pain meds to choke a mule.
