3. Nothing too fancy -- just getting some friends for drinks

at a local hangout (if there are any fellow San Francisco residents reading this, Frjtz Fries in Hayes Valley).

I wanted to celebrate by going to the Love Parade which was today, but it never worked out and I had to work today so I missed it completely. :-(

21. I'm allergic to them.

I wasn't always, but I think it happened in the last year or so. I have a friend who has cats, and every time I go in her apartment my eyes tear up and my nose gets runny. Same thing happened when I went to a dinner party at the house of someone I'd never met and who also had cats.

Could be worse. I'd rather be allergic to cats than any kind of food. My sister recently developed an allergy to sesame seed oil, which really sucks because we're Korean and sesame seed oil is a big part of our cooking.

Yee-haaa! Thanks all of you! Out of the 700 Club... and into the latter half of my thirties. Talk about going out of the frying pan and into the fire.
