They actually are kind of original, as opposed to the typical practice of selecting a random animal and having it run around like a loon the whole time.

19. I don't understand the whole mascot thing...
The Olympics consists of the best athletes from all over the world competing to be the very best. And yet the mascots are as childish as the teletubbies. Shouldn't the mascots be superhero-like? Or Greek God/Goddess like?

But no. We ammuse ourselves with a snowball with legs and a block head. I just don't get it.
