Was off at my stepfather's wedding...

Family stressful, but OK.

Went with my sibs and we spent a day in LV before we drove the 4 hours to Lake Arrowhead, which is where they will be living. They bought a house there WAY up the mountain.

I took lots of pictures. If I managed to get any of interest I'll post them.

It seems that the new policy of the TSA is that everybody puts their shoes through the scanner or be subject to an intensive search. This is why I no longer fly. I hate air travel to start with, and the new security simply offends me. Especially since it is very unlikely to stop another terrorist attack. All it does is humiliate ordinary people.

4. That shoe thing drives me nuts

I actually had to stand barefoot on the floor of Sea-Tac before I went to Austin earlier this month. I thought I was going to die.
