The Angels lost 1-0. I can't stand it. Damn you to hell, you nine-inch cowhide sphere!!! :grr: Why, oh why do I let myself get so worked up about a silly game? THere must be some greater force that pulls me in. :wtf: I think I'm going to have a beer.

4. Could the offense be any worse?
I mean, that Seattle pitcher hadn't won in THREE months. :wtf: At least we won't lose any ground to Oakland tonight.

3. I'm not worried about the card anymore
The Angels are going to have to win the West to get in. Besides, I like the Sox. I grew up a Mets fan(still am) and my brother is a Yankees fan. :grr: Yankees suck!

Losses won't hurt you so much when there are a whole lot of them.

7. The Mets are my first team
So I'm used to losing. But since I moved out here 14 years ago, I've been following the Halos.

8. The Cubs are the Zen Masters of baseball.
From them I have learned that you can only truly win by losing.

Ryan Franklin ain't a bad pitcher. He's just having a bad year. He was #9 in the AL in ERA last year. As a Mariners fan, I couldn't be happier about the result of tonight's game. :)

I matched up the '98 Yanks vs. the '86 Mets. The Yanks won in 11, 2-1. David Wells wins, Gooden throws nine solid innings but Jesse Orosco gives up a HR in the 11th to Paul O'Neill.
