I'm So Old I Remember When Pot Was $40 An Ounce!!!
Haven't smoked pot in maybe 15 years or so, thank goodness.

Saved a lot of money and brain cells.

2. Got you beat
I remember when pot went for $25 an oz (good homegrown stuff -- not that foreign pot).

Hey maybe you ought to pick it up again. I've been *told by a friend* that the stuff's a LOT better these days. Besides what do we need money and brain cells for?

Dinner for 2 at a fancy restaurant or a month being stoned. Which will it be?

Folks did a thriving business back in the 70s.

Now I get my annual joint from a friend who grows. And, yes, people still smoke joints.

$40 buught a 1/4 pound and in Ohio, getting popped was only a fine. It was lower quality then.

I quit it in the '80s.

30 days in jail. Go figure. They are also very keen on suspending your drivers liscence if they find pot in your car.

9. You saved money, but not brain cells
Unlike alcohol, pot doesn't kill cells. Recent studies show that it can actually heal sick cells (as in Alzheimers).

15. I had a serious surgery a few years ago
Out-patient, sent home 2 hours after gall bladder removal. Extremely nauseous, I won't sicken you with the details.

Husband went next door and got a little from the neighbor kid. One toke and the nausea left, never to return.
