25. Pigment colours

(dyes, paint, crayons, etc.) are additive - black is the combination of all colours and white is the absence of colour.

Light, is subtractive. In light, white is the combination of all colours, while it is the absence of colour (light) which creates black.

So black is a perfectly legitimate choice for favourite colour. It is also my favourite colour.
