Has anyone seen Cube/Cube 2
Just watched cube 2 hypercube, and I gotta tell you it is one of the best sci-fi series i've seen in a long time. It's on of the few movies that makes you think, and think hard about things that are philosophical.

If you haven't seen it I would recomend it, it really does a proficient job at explaining a hypercube, and parellel universes.

1. I liked 'em both
Don't get to say that about many Sci-Fi channle originals (they were, weren't they?), but these were very cool.

Really interesting stuff, I'd watch 'em both again.

7. The first film was a Canadian feature film
and the second was movie made by the Canadian company, Lions Gate. I'm not sure if the Sci-Fi channel had exclusive rights to the second one; it might have.

I liked Cube 2. I didn't expect to, but I did. After the first hour, I was even amused by Geraint Wyn Davies, though I couldn't stop expecting him to grow very cheesy vampire fangs.

2. I have seen both
I loved the first one, and then was really pleased with the last one because of the dimensional shifts. The only thing that ruined it was that they gave more of an explanation about what the cube was and why it existed. Leaving its origin and purpose a mystery in the first movie really made the idea more intriguing and scary.

I would have preferred it if they would have left the second movie without an explanation, as well. Ambiguity is like fertilizer for your mind…it makes it grow off in lot of unimagined directions.

5. There are numerous books about Che
I've read a couple. But can't remember the authors off the top of my head-- I don't own them, checked them out from the library

6. Yeah, I know
although I didn't portray that in my post. The one I read has a red cover with a picture of Che. Don't know author either.
Bought mine from BN, but loaned it to brother-in-law

8. Did you rent Cube 2 or did you see it on television?
If you rented it, where? I remember reading a review of it a while ago on AICN, I really want to check it out but haven't had a chance. Cube was excellent, really out there.
