Bumper Stickers in the Church Parking Lot Today

We belong to a progressive Unitarian Universalist congregation so I would be very surprised if I saw a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker on any car in the parking lot. Here's a sample of what we saw today:

One Nation, Under-educated.

I dated Dean, but I married Kerry.

Four More Wars!

It takes a Village Idiot.

Billionaires for Bush.

We also caught a host of Kerry Edwards stickers. Our church is in Nassau County, which used to be die-hard Repug. There are still pockets but the County is much less one-party rule than it used to be.

and since your list looked a lot like the list from our church I was not suprised to see it was UU.

4. I saw one that said "Be Patriotic. Vote Bush Out."

5. My church parking lot was full of Kerry bumperstickers

and others expressing left-leaning sentiments.

Episcopal church with 1500 members.
