2. I actually thought that Poison was a pretty good little trashy bubblegum

act. In many ways, they actually achieved what the NY Dolls were shooting for. But the Dolls were brilliant (and Poison wasn't)

I was not a fan and did not go see their concert willingly, I must add. My boyfriend at the time was one of their lighting technicians.

For when I was a young man in junior high school in the 1980s, I listened to much hair metal.

I owned t-shirts of Bon Jovi and Def Leppard.

Among the albums I owned were:

Def Leppard's Hysteria, Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet and New Jersey, Poison's Open Up and Say Ahhhhh, and Warrant's Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinkin' Rich and Cherry Pie.
