I'm 28 today...i always dreamed as a kid that this day would be a holiday because of my fame, but we all know how things turned out...

Happy Birthday to you... I agree, it is weird and I feel a little strange having any sort of party so close to such a strange day. But I still do it, because to not do it would mean that whomever perpetrated such horror was continuing to have a negative impact on my life and my friendships. Remembering is one thing, and an important one, but not giving up things that are important to me, as well, if that makes sense?

4. My (Late) Aunt and Her Grandson

My aunt, my mother's sister, had her birthday September 11. She died a year ago, I think just a couple days short of her birthday. Her grandson, my cousin's son, also has his birthday September 11.

So I have a cousin whose mother's birthday was September 11 and whose son's birthday is September 11.

9. I think Cherie Blair is one

I'm not sure, but I think she is.
Very sorry about this because I like Cherie Blair. And please don't flame this, because I think Tony Blair is truly a tragic figure, a gifted and good man who went wrong. So I'm not surprised that he caught a fine lady like Cherie Blair, years ago before he became corrupted.
That said - and this is a bit outside the topic - I hold out more hope for Tony Blair to end his life with some honor, than for AWOL who never had any honor at all and has no idea what it means.

He still works part-time in the mornings. Then drives to visit with his wife who is at a hospice. Then drives himself back to his ACLF and because he does not like their cooking, he usually stops at a Krogers or some other store with delis in them and buys his dinner to take home and eat there. He also played about 9 holes of golf (or is it 8 holes) about three times a week up until three years ago. :-)

His mother (my grandmother) died when she was 91. She was in very good health except for the bed sore which formed after she fell and could not get up any more and which ended up killing her.

My brother and I seem to have inherited more of my mother's health genes ... she was 47 years old when she died.
