Enjoy!
And feel free to enhance it... ---
Sequence opens with a view of a fighter jet parked on the flight line. A crew is working on it, prepping it for takeoff. The camera zooms in on the cockpit. The name stenciled below the canopy says "Lt. George W. Bush".
Cut to a jungle river. In the distance, approaching from around the bend is a group of swift boats. It appears they see something, and they suddenly increase speed and change course for the shore.
Cut to the fighter jet. The prep work complete, the flight crew is standing by the jet. One looks at his watch and frowns.
Cut to the swift boats. It's obvious a battle is taking place. Flashes are seen from inside the jungle. Splashes are seen in the water around the boats. One tall man in the lead boat is standing tall. Steering with one hand, he has a pistol in the other. He rapidly empties a clip toward the shore.
Cut to the fighter jet. The crew has set up a card table in the shade of the jet's wing. They're playing poker. A transistor radio is blaring tinny music. The sun is high in the sky.
Cut to the swift boats. A man is in the water. Small splashes are all around him. One of the boats roars over to him and turns to impose itself between the shore and the man. The tall man leaps to the side of the boat, reaches down and grasps the floating soldier's outstretched hand. He pulls the man into the boat. The wet, grinning man gives a hasty salute. The tall man salutes back, then tosses him his pistol. As he leaps back to the controls, the man from the river starts shooting the pistol toward the shore. The boats form up and head back toward the bend. The flashes from the shoreline diminish.
Cut to the fighter jet. It's getting dark, and the men are gone. The table has been overturned by the wind, and the folding chairs are scattered.
Cut to a military formation. A column of smartly dressed soldiers are at attention. The tall man steps forward and a general is obviously giving him an award. The tall man salutes sharply. The general snaps one back to him, beaming. The audience in the bandstand starts cheering and applauding.
Cut to the fighter jet. It's dark, and crickets are chirping. Zoom in on the intake of one of the jet engines. A bird has built a nest inside it, and is happily feeding her babies. Pan slowly to the cockpit. The name "Lt. George W. Bush" is clearly seen.
Voiceover: "One man fought for his country. One did not. Which one would YOU trust to lead your Army into battle?"
