so whats this thing i hear about a convention?

im in school and ive found it easier now to not watch cnn and other news channels all the time, and lemme tell ya, i like it. i think my blood preassure has fallen since ive arrived, and i have less stress (at least about politics, classes dont exactly help the stress thing.) ect. i think i might stop watching tv all together... no, i wont, but oh well.

so whats been goin on with the convention? anything surprising? or is it the standard BS blown from a much taller soapbox?

2. Nothing new . Standard same ole BS from a big idiot .

Really it was the same old stuff Bush has been saying for the past 4 years . Nothing new . My blood pressure was rising before the speech ( during the introduction movie ) but as the speech went on I howled in laughter . Bush is toast basically . Kerry came out swinging in Ohio . Kerry said the RNC stands for " Really Not Compassionate " . And he said Bush is " all hat , no cattle " . I sure hope that Kerry fights hard and without any care now . BTW , Kerry looked SO relaxed this evening in Ohio .

4. The only thing Shrub touched upon was ...

9/11 , the war on Terra , leaving no child behind , and etc . More of the compassionate conservative mess from the 2000 RNC . It sounded exactly like his speech from 2000 . Nothing new , he had no successful Presidential policies to touch upon . A very boring speech . I am sure someone else can tell you what he was talking about because I blanked out within the first 20 minutes . My brain could'nt take anymore . Nothing about creating new jobs , bringing our soldiers home , fixing OUR country etc .

so he could duel Chris Matthews.

Zell has officially lost it . I was expecting him to foam at the mouth while he was yelling at Chris Matthews . He has taken Helms' and Thurmond's spots as " senile southern senator " .
