Sporting my Kerry shirt and NYPD hat today when I table for the Young Dems

at the University of Arizona today.

As a staunch supporter of both the FDNY and NYPD I really think one issue that needs to get out (and good Republicans who are moderates might be interested to know too) that those men and women who sacrificed so much are being screwed over by cuts to the FIRE and COPS funding programs as they have been since Bush took office.

And of course we all know about Bloomberg refusing to give both institutions raises due to the fact that the city "can't afford it" gee wonder why?

I'm sportin an "I <3 NY" shirt, FDNY hat, a "Women For Kerry" dog tag and a Kerry-Edwards campaign button attached to my shirt. Now THAT'S a statement, huh? ;)
