This could be the year...I feel it in my bones! We went to the game yesterday, the best game I ever saw! Cubs came back from a 6-0 deficit and beat the Cardinals. Absolutely awesome. (figured I used up my quota of exclamation points) :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

1/2 game out, we're done with Houston and St. Louis (who have 6 games to play against each other..now if we can just beat those pesky Brewers.

at least your guys have won a world series or two in the last century. the cubs have given us nothing but heartache and depression.

i'm a cub fan. i remember as far back as the 1969 season. so, after 30-some years of the cubs i can tell you folks that are getting excited to just forget about it. since 1908 the cubbies have always found a way to make us cry, and i don't expect any different this year.

..as long as the Cubs can win the games they should (and need to win especially against the Mutts and the Brewers) and St Loouey and the Asstros beat each other up we should be in good shape...maybe..hopefully..perhaps...

I for one will not be celebrating 'til the regular season is all said and done..

Did they score all of those runs in one inning? As a Pittsburgher I am rooting for the Cubs since Sammy wears the great Roberto's number, Chicago is a hell of a good town and, last but not least, we traded all our players to you so rooting for them is like rooting for the Pirates West!

...since they had to play another game later that day. Lord, 24 innings of baseball in approximately 10 or so hours.
