1. And in that time...
You will have ongoing development of Linux, Apple's stuff, (Dare I say) AmigaOS4.x and beyond(Yes, Virginia, it exists).

Stick a fork in M$. They are done. Suicide by a thousand cuts.

2. Anyone who uses Internet Explorer is insane.
It's the worst browser on the planet, devoid of any substantial or effective security. And it's also slow in comparison to others!

6. Switching to Mandrakelinux...
Was one of the smartest things I have ever done. Period.

Mandrakelinux 10.1 will be out in September, if it holds to the release roadmap. Word from testers is that it has been remarkably stable, even in Alpha.

Load it up with the real-time, preemptively multitasking and scheduled multimedia kernel and it is sooooooo sweet.

9. Micr$oft vs. Opensorce
the difference between capitalism and populism. You can't serve two masters - the almighty dollar and the deserving public. Always keep Microcrap in mind when considering the 'Pukes statements that private industry will police itself and do what is right for the public.

14. A little wisdom
